Amy Binder will continue role as Chair and CEO
NEW YORK, NY, June 8, 2022 – RF|Binder, a fully integrated communications and consulting firm headquartered in New York City, announced today that Rebecca Binder, formerly Senior Managing Director, Strategic Initiatives, has been promoted to President of the firm. Amy Binder will continue as Chair and CEO. In her new role, Rebecca will focus primarily on expanding and strengthening the firm’s services and solutions, so RF|Binder can continue pushing boundaries and creating impact for our clients. Rebecca also serves as a member of RF|Binder’s Board of Directors.
Rebecca joined the RF|Binder team in 2018 as Senior Managing Director overseeing Strategic Initiatives. Under her leadership, the firm has expanded, grown and strengthened its integrated solutions services across the firm, including strategic communications consulting, paid and digital media and content creation, as well as advanced data and analytics offerings. Now as President, she is responsible for setting and implementing strategic goals for future growth as well as overseeing all operations.
“Rebecca’s background in strategic consulting and communications has been a key driver of our success since she joined RF|Binder four years ago,” said CEO Amy Binder. “Her ability to identify where we need to be to continue to bring the most value to our clients is unprecedented. She’s also had a big hand in expanding our client capabilities. In this new role, she will be able to spend more time focusing on these strengths, so we can continue to achieve the most impact for our clients.”
Prior to joining RF|Binder, Rebecca had over a decade of experience working at management and innovation consulting firms. She worked at Innosight, a growth strategy consulting firm founded by Clayton Christensen, a Harvard Business School professor, and the foremost authority on disruptive innovation. While at Innosight, she advised C-suite executives on developing long-term transformational growth strategies. Previously, she worked with the global management consulting firm, Booz Allen Hamilton, where she led cross-functional teams in its federal practice, advising clients on strategic planning, process improvement, risk management, data quality, and performance monitoring.
“The past two plus years have underscored the incredible importance for organizations to align their corporate and innovation strategy with their communications strategy. This is exactly what RF|Binder does – we advise and lead companies during periods of growth and change, when clearly articulating to their target audiences who they are, what they do, and what makes them different is fundamental to their success,” said Rebecca Binder. “As we continue to innovate and drive business impact via communications, I’m thrilled to be taking on such an important role in this process.”
“As RF|Binder grows and we continue to work towards achieving our strategic goals, I’m excited to have Rebecca help lead the way,” added CEO Amy Binder. “She will be pivotal to expanding our capabilities and offerings to ensure that we are not merely evolving with the complex communications landscape, but staying well ahead of the curve.”
Rebecca received her MBA from Harvard Business School and her AB with honors in International Relations from Brown University.
